Fargo is a film starring experienced actors Billy Bob Thornton Martin Freeman Bob Odenkirk. The movie was based on the Coen brothers 1996 film of identical title. Tolman was recognized for her role as Minnesota the Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair wrote that Tolman "calmly, assuredly stole" the film. Critics' Choice Television Award, Best Supporting Actress (Movie/Miniseries) and Golden Globe awards were presented in recognition of her role. That in the same season, the news also revealed that Tolman will be playing a double guest role on The Mindy Project playing Abby Berman, a romance writer. In 2015, she played the role of a support in Michael Dougherty's comedy horror film Krampus.
